Dustin is a talented ceramic artist who creates functional cups, plates, vases, and pottery. I'm personally obsessed with the ice cream series, as I love its play on color and texture.

This morning I read Car Seat Headrest has been signed to Matador Records and will be releasing his first studio album. YAY!!!! I interviewed this dude back in 2013 and wanted to share it on the main blog. Also, just a scroll of his Facebook page will show a growing interest on the internet from NPR to Stereogum...eeeps!

Craig 'Skibs' Barker creates colorful retro pieces that encapsulate the charm of postwar era style and signs in his paintings and installations. I've seen three different art installations filled with whim and wonderment by Skibs, and I love how he plays with lights and tv screens to manipulate an environment.

Those nights out that feel like a dream, where the people are beautiful and life seems surreal. Everything was intangibly exciting. In the moment you wonder if your awake or asleep, closing your eyes to open them up and see that this place, this wonderland, is real. When I listen to HEALTH this is the feeling I am filled with.

Natasha was not only working the event checking in vendors but had her new inventive ice cream truck parked outside. The sandwiches were wrapped in edible rice paper, and all the combinations were cleverly named after different architects. Now, over ten years later, Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches can be found in major grocery stores and indie movie theaters. They have pints of their ice cream available for mass consumption and a few ice cream shop locations too.
